Was looking on the LR site at some preloved examples and. It’s that the VED on the 405 seems to be all over the shop.

The pre 15 plates re naturally more pricey, the 4.4 is also more expensive than the 3.0 at £555 vs £300, but post 65 plate the 4.4 drops to £325 but the 3.0 is £455..... Which seems the wrong way round?? And there is a 63 plate 3.0 which is down as £610......

Can’t find the one at £610..... but..

Adblue on the 4.4 is the key to £325 AFAIK Sold - Bell a 2015 MY16 Loire Blue Autobiography 4.4 SDV8
Previously George a 2007 MY07 Java Black VSE 3.6 TDV8
Previously a 04 MY04 Defender 90

late 2015 the euro 6 engines came in hence the lower tax.. ... - .- -.

Confirming 3.0 2014 MY is £300/ year

I wonder why the post 15 euro 6 3.0 are more than the 4.4, does the 3.0 eu6 not have adblue? There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

my 16my 3.0 has ad blue...... maybe its the ad blue that reduces emissions and consequently the tax.. ... - .- -.

Mine is a 65 plate 4.4 which cost £325 or so when taxed last September
