4 wheel alignment

Had the car in for Hunter 4wheel alignment.
All but the camber ok.
Report states "large difference in front camber, not enough adjustment
On top mounts to correct angles"
Anybody ideas as to what could be wrong??
Also stated nsf 1" higher than osf. Although correcting this would not
Correct camber issues. Help Big Cry

Badly worn suspension bushes or damage to suspension arms or struts...

Height issue can be resolved with an IID tool or similar or done by the dealer...

Or the most likely one IMHO is the bloke who set the system up on your car, if the wheel gauges aren't put on just so then the readings will be miles out...

How far out is the camber...??? Pete

Generally speaking the camber doesn't need adjusting. On the top mount the strut locates with a pin through the mount. To adjust the camber this needs removing and then a special tool is used to pull the strut top to the correct position. As Pete says, it's worth getting it checked again.

Just Before you get it put on the rig I would raise it up then put it into normal mode then drive it onto the ramp to make sure that the suspension is settled it should be done in tight tolerance mode but that will require a diagnostic, which the garage is unlikely to have, but If the wheel sensors aren't pushed home they can give bad results too. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

When I was replacing my lower inner rear bushes a few days ago (front) this very thought crossed my mind.
The mounting point for the securing bolt is eccentrically located.
There is an arrow on the bush which is to be lined up with a cast mark.
I have come to the conclusion that should a need arise to make adjustments in the way that you need to a new bush needs to be installed and the appropriate rotation applied prior to pressing the bush home.

Has a muppet installed new bushes on your FF and not put them in correctly?
Has your FF had a crash?
If all available adjustment has been used in the strut this method as far as I can see is your only option.
I know that many trucks actually have their radius arms bent in a press to correct this sort of issue.

From a few days ago;
Replaced front, lower inner rear suspension bush. (LR 018345)
I dont think these push pull bush kits will work on these large bushes for removal (i dont have one) I removed the whole link arm 6T on my press and the old one still didnt budge even with a hacksaw cut through the bush casing, a bit of hammer work saw it shift......pressed the new one home with the old bush.
Be sure to line the ARROW on the bush with the mark on the link arm.
This one is not really a home handy man sort of job.
