I'm glad it's not as straight forward as originally implied, reckon that Phil's wrap it up and pull at 4.5 to 6 kg is going to work, but, if you were to do the job to the exact specification that was set out by the factory, the only way you could achieve this is to use the machine that the factory does...... I'm surprised that they haven't issued an instruction that the wheel nuts have to ALL be torqued up at the same time and not individually..... have you got a 5 headed torque gun in your tool box?
Don't you just love the way things are going... gone are the days that a competent peep could fix his car at the side of the road with a selection of tools, everything now a days needs special tools and computers I have a longing to buy a 2 door Range Rover with a derv conversion... that would be ECU free... happy days Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer...
