Air suspension and HDC inactive after fitting track rod ends

Hi all, finally got round to changing track rod ends , tie rods and lower suspension arms. Steering wheel is slightly off centre so going in for tracking tomorrow , when I get above 20 mph the abs light , air suspension andHDC inactive faults light up. Is this common after track rod end replacement when wheel is off centre . What I am asking is am I worrying for nothing and will tracking sort this out. Cheers

If the steering wheel is too far off center it upsets all sorts... I expect it will be fine once the wheel is straight again... Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Pete

Would the steering reset procedure help in this case? This is where after starting the engine (don't drive forwards), you turn the steering wheel to full left lock and then to full right lock. 2006MY 4.2 SC

Steering angle sensor will be off possibly due to the tracking being incorrect, get it tracked up then do the go to lock thing.

If that doesnt work then a plug in reset should sort it. Thumbs Up There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Just FYI you can drive forward, back, anyway you like, turn left first or right... doesn't make any difference all it wants to see is the end of the lock both ways, and usually clears before that....

I do it reversing off the drive... Thumbs Up Pete

As NMJ says, the steering angle is out and it will sort itself out once the tracking is done. Best have all 4 wheels done.
