Windscreen wipers go thud thud thud thud thud thud thud thud

My wipers are due for a change and need to get some in the next few days.
Now at the moment when they reach there distance and change to come back there is a thud....
after a while it tends to get on your wick.
So before i buy, anyone have the same issue and what ones did you get.
or if you dont have the isseu, what one do you have.
Or is it common and i just have to deal with it
Cheers...

Wiper blades worn out. You need new ones. Had the same problem and fitted Bosch 808s. Problem solved. There are some threads on the subject with others fitting different blades. John

the real reason for the thud is actually because they need adjusting.

They should be at a certain angle (but I can't remember what at the moment) - if you are not changing the blades then you can alter the angle that the existing blade meets the glass but loosening the nut, twisting the blade a little and re tighten the nut.

its s little more difficult than I explained (but not a lot) but certainly something that you can fix Ash
