Folding side mirror judder

This is my first ever post, I' had my 2011 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography for about four months and am very pleased. The car has no major falls at all after, I've done just over 7000 miles in it so far, with 60,000 miles now in total on the clock. But I do have a few tiny little niggles, the first of which follows:

When my side mirrors fold in, there is a slight judder. When the car has been in full sun there is a very distinct judder and the motors sound like they are straining. Is there a simple fix? Perhaps a squirt of lube.

mine does that too. passenger side one mostly... Just put a bit of silicone grease on mine, then wiped off the excess. Didn't seem to make much difference There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Mine has this too. I was told by a dealer technician that the lubricant on the post on which the mirror swivels gets pushed off the section used between the driving and folded positions and the thing to do is to push the mirror forwards from the driving position to draw some lubricant back on to the stem. You might want to verify that elsewhere before trying it though. Only Range Rovers since 1988

Does anyone know if the whole unit needs to be stripped down and lubricated, or if there a point where the mirror can be squirted with a lubricant such as Corrosion-X?
If a strip down is required, does anyone have a page from the manual?
