Today my air suspension inactive fault appeared.
Now have no lights on control switch inside car, is this normal. prior to this a sort of rumbling was heard then fault appeared. Im assuming compressor is gubbed, new replacement on order.
Does the error code have to be rest after installation of replacement part ?

Car is 4.4 V8 petrol ( 02 )

I've just fixed mine..car was giving the air suspension inactive message and control was unlit...it could be a lot of things tbh..i bought an icarsoft which told me reservoir pressure was static and with the help of some forum members I was able to start pinpointing the fault...

certainly I good investment to get a decent diagnostic instead of throwing parts at thw car..in the end it was.my compressor that was worn to the point it could only pump out 0.09 bar...

Have you tried turning the steering wheel full lock left to right to clear message on cluster?

Turning wheel won't help unless you have disconnected the battery....

As has been said, no good guessing what's wrong, could be loads of things that give the same fault, get a reader or get the codes read...  Pete
