When slowing down sometimes the gear change isn't as smooth as the rest of the time going from 2-1. There was a TSB for a gearbox update on the early supercharge gearboxes. |

Yes you can update the software, I did it on my 2006 SC. its not a standard feature, you need to contact them send some info from the car that you download from the car and pay a small fee for them to unlock the feature. Worked well on mine. |

The TSB is LTB00267 Second to First gear rollout harshness , If you get an iiD Tool from Gap ( and you should) the bluetooth version can re-flash the gearbox ECU with the updated software. Pat and the boys off ECU reflashing and it's way cheeper than going through the Stealers but to be honest I have no idea what the charge is . 2008 MY Supercharged

Got a reply from GAP. £25 for the update which is a bargain. I will look at buying the IID BT tool soon.
