Offroader/Towing Machine/Cruiser - What can't they do?!

Morning All!

Thought I'd say hi, had my FF for about 18 months, and a reliable one for nearly 6 months now! (touch wood)

She gets used for towing, playing in welsh forests, the occasional offroading, and polished up as a motorway cruiser - truly the most versatile vehicle you can get.

She's getting on a bit now, 130k under her belt, but still going strong.

Good to meet you all!

Marc

Nice and good to see you use it for what it is for!

Into wheels at the moment, like both sets you have, the supercharger, I think, I have to and really look good on black cars.

I've been fishing in mine today which took it off road through some deeply rutted tracks and some soft peat moors - you really do forget what these things are good at and capable of doing. Awesome machines even if they can be expensive.

I've just changed it for a Red Rose (of Lancashire) sticker as although not born here it is my adopted county. The sticker actually covers a little hole in the bumper where I was speared Javelin fashion by a piece of 1/4" steel rod on the motorway - could have been worse it could have shot through the windscreen and speared me or even worse SWMBO as she was on board at the time Shocked Geoff

Wheels

I went through a few sets of wheels at the start as a bit of trial and error for the look vs practicality - 20's with small tyres didn't look right, 22's looked great but wore quickly and were prone to bending, but L405 20's with 255/55 turn out to be great, enough sidewall to be comfy, and fill the arches really well.

Next set will probably be some AT's as not doing quite so many miles these days!

Thanks for the comments all Smile
