Sounds like speedometer motor is playing up - I had this problem when I tried to fix the pixels and damaged the speedo - any of the companies that fix the pixel display will fit a new motor for you - about £100 to fit a new motor from memory. Current Fleet:-

I would agree , the pixel fault is guaranteed and without a speciall needle removal tool damage will occur |
