You can fry your nav computer doing this, especially when you reconnect the battery, if you miss the terminal and it turns on and off in quick succession etc.

On the 4.2 S/C "R" Jaguar you have to input a specific code after battery replacement (although there is another way ). Is this the case with a Jaguar based 2006+ Range Rover? |

You should be able to get the part number from microcat... Isn't it an Alpine unit? I believe the DVD unit in my car is different to yours though. |
