Silicon hoses for 3.6tdv8 vogue

ive been searching for a silicon air hose kit for a 2010 vogue TDV8.
Managed to find some for a RR sport.
Can anyone shed some light on where to buy them for a vogue.
Is it worth replacing them all or just the upper hoses?

I looked into this too ,as I fitted them on my old td5 ,but my indy stated there no use on a tdv8 as they will keep popping off so stay with genuine 2007 tdv8 se ,stornaway grey

That seems strange that the silicon ones keep popping off.
They can handle 21 psi boost in a td5. Surely they can handle the pressure of the tdv8???
It just seems silly that the original hoses split every few years and need replacing.
Not something you want to happen in a more remote area.

Silicone hoses will not keep popping off, and are a fit and forget upgrade.

My Disco 3 is running 23psi, and has been for the last 40k miles. Never had an issue Thumbs Up

New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green

The CAC (Charge Air Cooler) turbo hoses are rated for 6 bar workin pressure Smile

I had to look at the OAT resistant ones, I already saw porridge being pumped through Smile Smile Smile MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

I totally agree about been a upgrade ,
as stated I fitted them to my td5 with no problems what so ever ,im just quoting what my indy stated

ps how much are the kits from lhss as it don't say on their site 2007 tdv8 se ,stornaway grey

This was the response I got from them.

Note the pricing doesn't include VAT as I'm in Sydney Australia.

"Thank you for the enquiry. Please see attached Land Rover silicone hose brochure for reference.
The cost of kit is £56.00 each.
Hose clamps @ £1.90 each. These are all stainless steel with inner sleeve. Very high spec.."

The Kit is known as a TDV8-V kit and has 6 silicon hoses.

I've ordered the kit and will probably get it in the next week.

It does seem very good for 6 hoses. Although 4 are very short.
I'm hoping they're good quality and will know once I put them on.
My car which I only bought a week ago has a whistling noise at a certain throttle position and is using more fuel than I thought it would or what I've read it should from other people with the TDV8 3.6.
I've inspected the two main hoses and couldn't see any leaks or splits.
If it doesn't fix it I'm not sure what could be causing the faint whistle? Maybe one of the turbo blow off actuators could be stuck open?

The faint whistle is fairly normal seem to recall my 3.6 did it too at certain boost levels, mostly when cold. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Mines seems to do it whether its cold or warm.
I have only driven the car for one full tank but have averaged 20 MPG or 14.0 L per 100.
The car did a mixed amount of city/motorway driving and i wasnt heavy on the throttle.
I'm guessing it should have been around 10 or 11 l per 100.
