Haunted rear wiper - anybody know how to use a ouija board?

Here is a weird one - rear wiper stopped solid (cant move it by hand) in the six o'clock position refusing to move. Ok, cleaned the connector and still nothing so I have ordered a new unit. This is where it gets strange, the wiper keeps moving very slowly (so slow you cant actually see it move) and is now at the five o'clock (still cant be moved by hand). I have thought of sticking letters on the screen and seeing what it spells out - any suggestions as to what it might say if I do? QUID FACIUM TIBI

Seriously, sounds like the motor has had it. Mine only lasted eight years from new (new car), and on six years on the replacement, so expecting the same again soon Thumbs Up .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

Take the motor out (see wiki here) and you will find the cog is full of cr@p and so the motor struggles to move it round. Easy fix. Thumbs Up
