Well BUT if you have an USB connect already in your car - do you still need that 3,5 male connection ?

It's an AUXiliary in plug, usually 3.5mm jack plug, a lot of the late ones have it as standard, I think you can get a kit to fit yours... Pete

If you have the iPod connection in your centre console and an OEM LR iPod lead, this is quite an elegant solution (although not the cheapest).

Should work with any car that has an OEM iPod connection that uses the 30 pin connector I believe.

Is your Jag cable USB one end, Apple 30 pin connector the other?

Perfect. If you've got an OEM iPod lead with the 30 pin plug on the other end you should be golden.

Hi, I have a 2004 with the earlier non touch screen. Is it possible to fit a aux lead or the 30 pin Apple connection.

I'm the same stwid, an easy option would be to put a aux cassette in the tape player bit.
