Strange Sat Nav behaviour

Today the Sat Nav stopped working while driving. Only the Land Rover logo, and a fast blinking on/off button.
I removed and inspected the Nav unit, the phone unit, the DVD changer, and the amplifier (I think) at the bottom left in the boot. Seemed to be fine.

The strange behavior is like this:
- After resetting the unit (disconneted the battery for a while), the screen displays the Land Rover logo and the button flashes when I reconnect the battery. But when turning the ignition ON (without starting the car), the screen works fine. GPS ok, radio ok - everything works!
- BUT, when starting the engine, the nav unit goes into "Land Rover" blinking button mode... And it seems to stay unavailable until I disconnect the battery again.

Updated: I had one extra try yesterday night, then everything worked fine. This morning, however - only Land Rover logo...

We're off for a trip to Denmark today - not the same nice experience without radio, CDs, DVDs and GPS.....

Anyone experienced a similar pattern?

Just wanted to share findings: I suspected the Nokia BT module, and have now disconnected it, and insterted a MOST loop. Voila - everything (except BT, of course) works steady again! Thumbs Up

Next thing is to order an upgraded BT modul (ref this thread: http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic53302.html

These ffrr have their own temper, seems like they are steadily reminding us that "Now It's time to care for me a bit again, I'm hurting...." Complex creatures, but then again very interesting! They definitly have their own soul - not like the boring Toyotas or the just-working-Lexus.
