Good to hear mate. Did LR 'reset' the mileage of the car when the new engine was fitted? Or has it stayed the same? Jordan

The mileage would stay on the car as the rest of the components on the car have still done the existing mileage. 2002 4.6 Vogue SE - Alveston Red with Lightstone Leather

As an update I've not been doing as much mileage in the FFRR as I bought a boxster GTS as a weekend toy but can't stop driving it. However I have just hit 47k miles so had it in for it's 3rd service.

A couple of warranty jobs where done both pre planned and apparently on all L405'S at least similar to mine...

New suspension compressor & something else suspension related, some sort of valve

Software update so the car finally knows when it needs servicing Whistle

Also needed new discs and pads all round so total bill just under 2k but at least my car knows when I owe RR more money :sigh:

I remember when i had an automatic Vauxhall as a courtesy car and it ended up getting put in reverse doing 100mph by accident Whistle
Car never did drive the same after that and then being taken drifting round a farm...

Yes, doubtful that happened I think... Alex

Doubt it, you do that and the gearbox would be destroyed.

Can doubt it mate, you'd still be wrong Thumbs Up Gearbox wasnt destroyed - but didn't perform the same. Car cut out immediately when it happened and seemed to go into neutral. Possibly a safety feature, but the car then wouldnt restart straight away & acted hesitant for the rest of the time i had it Shocked It was a genuine accident though. Didn;t do it on purpose Jordan
