Once you've done this, I added a rubber u section trim to the welded arch joint ( I coated in petroleum jelly first). Available from Dan LR001623 GONE 2010 Facelifted 3.6 TDV8 - Stornoway Grey + 22" Overfinch Olympus

Hi paulmoran2 I was letting these dry for 24 hrs - then I was going to seek out some Dum Dum - Black rubber to paste coat the inner's https://sugru.com/great-for/cars-and-motorbikes Its now called SUGRU Hope this helps with ideas . . |

An observation. Some people say the original LR rubber strips have metal inside that can contribute to corrosion. On forum member ndf recommendation, I've used this method on 2 L322 now and it works very well.
