Throttle lag

I have a v6 and feel there is a slight throttle lag from stand still, has anyone else noticed this and if so can it be fixed.

I wouldn't say there was anything "slight" about the throttle lag!!

It was the same in my old D3.

I came out of an auto Lexus RX, in comparison the RR feels instant Smile
In every auto car I have experienced a slight delay, I don't really notice it in this cat but yet I have not lived with it for very long.

All the diesels do it. It can be mapped out though so it becomes almost imperceptible but the bottom line is that turbos have to spool up which is never instant. The petrols don't suffer with it but there is an obvious cost to that.

Mind you, if you think the FFRR is bad try a vauxhall (no don't). You need to write to those things informing them at least a week in advance that you want to pull away from a junction. Bordering on the altogether dangerous level.

Me too, in fact I've still got the Lexus. Terrible by comparison with the RR.
