Bank 1 and Bank 2

Which set of cylinder's is classed as bank 1 and which set of cylinder's is classed as bank 2 ?...
Range rover TDV8 2007 ??..

I know the driver's side is labeled 1234 from front to rear. Right is 5678 front to back.

So one would assume bank 1 is left?! Ed

Yeah my turbo actuator has gone and it give the bank number so need to know which side to look at ?.

I've found the workshop manual PDF (available via the Wiki) to be very useful. If you look in the relevant section there's normally a table of DTC codes with a diagnosis / debug procedure along side.

Perhaps if you look up those then it will tell you which side it's meant to be on. Ed
