REAR QUARTER PANEL MOULDING - PILLARS

.

As summers here there has been a job I have wanted to do for months -

You will properly see your RUBBERS at the top are not fitting correctly - Rain water ( washing the car ) all that water will go inside which is not good.

Take off the REAR Quarter Panels - what is lurking behind them !!! - Mud - Dirt - Rust ????

I have detailed a list of instructions in case you fancy doing yours - Time taken about 2 hours.

Step 1
GET THE CORRECT TOOLS OUT:
Very very small FINE Drill Bit see pics

The Reason why you need a Very Fine Small Drill bit is that the LUGS that are holding the plastic in place are Push Home Once ..... - But I don't play that game. ( What Goes In Must Come OUT !!! )
so by drilling a very small hole in the dead center of the plug - you can screw a very sharp screw in & Pull the sucker out
and then re-use time and time again.

This is how you pull the suckers OUT !

FINISHED JOB - NOW TOTALLY WATER PROOF REAR END

I used some 100% water proof plastic/rubber glue to glue the rubbers back on to the black pillar covers - I have a feeling LR ran out of glue as it was a bit hit & miss on our cars - anyway Factory Job done 100% water sealed now.

LOOK AFTER HER & SHE WILL LOOK AFTER YOU Thumbs Up

Again - I hope this helps anyone who reads it - best wishes FFRR owners - enjoy the summer Thumbs Up
