unfortunately you can't just replace one, the thing comes as a pretty large kit with the lift pump too. Rolling Eyes

If you have a dancing fuel gauge then i would suspect that one of them is fubar and replacing them should sort it.

the part no is LR015179 for the 3.6 is about £390..... :blue:

edit.....I stand corrected, you can get the senders individually.....LR039487 or LR039488 about £95 each. I remember now, when i did min i did the entire pump as i managed to get one really cheap and there didn't seem to be any point swapping just the senders for not much less money. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

There was a post about eradic gauge readings being possibly caused by corrosion at the sender unit connectors on the outside of the tank.

The WSM shows an access point on the tdv8 somewhere inside that saves pulling out the tank. I've looked in the cargo area but can't find it. Does anyone know where it is? ______________________________

The TSB was for the internal electrical plugs onto both tank sender units sir...

Simply put, chop the plugs off and solder the wiring back together Thumbs Up

From what i have seen on the manual is that the connections are on the pump side under the inspection panal. Is this correct

Just an update, i set about testing my senders.
I accessed the wiring under the rh side cover in the rear seat space and all the resistance readings were spot on
Put it all back together and now works completley fine.
The only conclusion i can come to is dirty connections on the plugs. Thumbs Up
