I believe high beam assist/HBA is standard on L405 Autobiography with Xenon also as standard. (MY16). It also has the turn lights which illuminate/come on as you turn left or right. But that is different to AFS.

Adaptive front lights/AFS is a £300 option. Personally I think at that price it should be standard or NCO.

As some have stated, dealer knowledge of this and other options could be improved.

Mine does not have the AFS light on start up and the lights don't swivel. I had ordered AFS so I think this is the second vehicle built and delivered without them... Big Cry Will let you know for sure this weekend if it really is the case....

Wealy... Confirmed as also not being built with adaptive/AFS lights... So something has gone wrong twice between ordering and build. Waiting for a response from dealer but I am in slight disbelief...

Twice??

Shocked

Good luck with the dealer.

When was looking it was a " must have " option but there was simply no way of identifying or confirming that the car has them from outside or inside, which is really confusing. One dealer told me that the car had it but I wasn't convinced it did. I didn't buy that one anyway but it would be good if they had a visible tell tale signs.

I really like adaptive. Previous car had them and I do 30,000 miles a year with lots at night. So for me it was a must have option too. The dealers can plug them and show whether they are fitted or not on Topix. Hope to get it sorted eventually... Current: L460 Autobiography D350 2023, Defender D240 HSE 2020, Defender 110 Adventure 2015, Defender 90 XS 2012, Lightweight Ser III 1975, Aston Martin DBS Manual 2008

I live in a village surrounded by tight country lanes and it really comes into its own around here - as we both agree a 'must have" and what I still can't get Mr head around is that it's not standard on the AB??????

As already said it's 300 quid option so it's a no brainier on the AB or even the SE?

I'm guessing xenon is standard nowadays across the range?

xenons are standard , adaptive should be, how stupid to ask for £300 especially on the AB.
