I have these 18" RRS wheels that were on my P38A and am thinking of fitting them to my L322 when I go bush instead of running the 20" rims.

You need to use RRS wheel nuts, L322 ones won't fit. 2004 L322 V8 |

Yep. I have the RRS nuts I used with the P38A. I must admit that's annoying as I'd like to get rid of the locknuts from the L322 and had hoped to use the RRS nuts. It looks like I'll have to buy 4 nuts. Ron B. VK2OTC

Well, I got around to trying them tonight. They seem to fit OK. I'm pretty sure the bore size is the same - I checked with verniers and internal expanding bore gauges - 72.5 or 72.6mm

When you decide to change the 18" tyres give some thought to 265 60 18`s. I run 19" in town but swap to the 18" when out. The 265 60 18`s are fitted to loads of Hi lux, Prado`s and Land Cruisers so are readily available. There are loads second hand in the small adds as the Cruiser guys want bigger. I got a set of 4 nearly new Dunlop Grand Trek AT 22`s for $150. The AT 22`s have a stronger sidewall than the AT20`s but look the same so good for the bush on low pressures 2007 TDV8 VSE

Thanks Wayne, will do. Did you find them in the local paper, on Gumtree, or eBay? Ron B. VK2OTC

Gumtree, I seem to do well buying and selling stuff on Gumtree. Found my TD6 on there too. 2007 TDV8 VSE

I'll have to try Gumtree. eBay's fees are a bit rich. Ron B. VK2OTC

Standard tyre size for the ffrr on 18's is 255/60r18 so we are talking 5% of 255mm difference in height.... that's 1/2 an inch or 12.5 mm nothing if you change all the wheels
