Saw this advertised from £79.99 down to £49.99.

What can they do for you/ uses put to and are these units likely to be any good?

This is not the first time aldi have has such an offer. They did the same about three years ago. I brought one and its still going strong today (occasional use and kept drained etc). Used for sanding, cutting and tyres etc, so for that money - its a bit of a no brainer.  405 AB exec seats Baltic and Cirrus

Aldi normally sell good quality German products. I bought a WORKZONE Compressor two years ago and use it all the time.

Thanks both. Any Workzone tools I've bought from Aldi have always been very good. Just wondered if this compressor was a good buy. Sounds like it but not sure I'd use it for much more than tyres... Could it be used to blow water off cars to dry them before polishing etc?

Yes and I use mine...(not an Aldi one) to blow out the interior, open all the doors and give the carpets a good blow, it's amasing how much dust comes out of them, also seat seams, dash vents, door pockets etc etc... I find it much better than a vacuum...  Pete

All gone in my local stores but contacted ALDI and they are shipping one from Bournemouth or Fareham to my local Branch in 48 hours. So still some available if you search around. Good service from ALDI.

Bought one today for £49.99. They had 5 or 6 left after my purchase. Chap in queue at the checkout told me they're great and he's had one for ages.

They have been for sale for a while and at £79.99 was tempted but kept thinking what do I need one of those for/ didn't expect to see them reduced by so much though

Mind you, will be a while before it 'pays for itself' versus 20p a go at the supermarket tyre machine

So... Took it out of the box and realised that it didn't come with any coupling/ accessories; and I didn't buy any such kit that might have been additionally on sale at the time

Can anyone please advise a decent kit to buy so I can get some use out of this thing?

I carry a small 12 V compressor in the back for tyres. Started that with the 4.2 that had one tyre leaking a bit so needed some pumping every 2 weeks and at 200 Naira a pop charged by the roadside vulcanizers in Nigeria, 2200 Naira was a no brainer. It is still doing very well even though I don't need it much.

As for one of the 220 V compressors, I couldn't fit mine into my container when we left Holland and gave it to a friend. I still regret not finding a good spot for it .

Seems like a good buy, I would have gotten it as well (since I do have all the kit to use with it). MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Would you believe it, I called into Aldi this morning for some groceries and...

They're now selling a 3HP compressor for about £160 odd. However, they had one left of these accessory kits... One!

" WORKZONE Air Compressor Accessory Kit (ideal for use with 3HP compressor) "

Anyway, at £14.99 I snapped it up!

Have tried the compressor out this afternoon to do car tyres and it's really good.
