Early versions a waste of time - later versions include a vehicle tracker - remotely monitored - love it or hate it.....

I use InControl regularly just to check everything is ok with locks and alarm more out of curiosity than anything else. Works well if a little slow to communicate with security info. Agueroooooooooo. 93-20

I am very impressed with Incontrol Secure.

I was sitting having dinner with friends in a small hotel in the Cotswolds with no mobile signal. The manager came up to me and said the Land Rover tracker people had called him because they could not reach me to check if all was OK as the alarm ( which I think is silent) had alerted them.

Turned my wife had put the dog in the car while we had dinner. She had accidentally double locked the car. The dog moved and the interior sensors sensed the movement and set a signal to the tracker centre. The tracker centre could not reach me on my mobile despite sending a text so they saw where the car was parked and rang the Hotel.

I was impressed.

I also like the app which works well although can be a bit slow finding the car.

I'm disappointed it isn't available for early L405's, sounds like a great bit of kit in that respect

Plenty of those available as a retro fit- just google 'car tracker' and you'll find them

When did InControl become standard?

I think it became standard on AB models earlier this year, I ordered mine in late May and it had just become standard along with terrain progress and one or two other things like tailgate gesture control. Agueroooooooooo. 93-20

My car has the InControl remote functionality as std and that works OK. However, the app suggests that the premium subscription allows additional features such as the ability to lock the car remotely and also the trigger of the FBH. It is the FBH function that I really would like as I often leave the car at the station but do not know which train I will return on.

Has anyone had the standard subscription upgraded to to premium and if so what was process? My dealer told me it was only on my16 (mine is my15) but I'm not inclined to believe it until substantiated.

My 2016 A/B has it, very impressive additional feature. Have used the remote control for the heater a few times already!
