The App is telling me that my car has said it needs a service imminently and that I should book it in. But if I check the Service Menu in the car it says a service is not due for another 1500 miles and, furthermore, the car is not generating any warnings of a service being needed.

I think there is a bug in the App software. I have mentioned it to my dealer but not something I expect them to fix but to raise with JLR. They have never heard of this before, it seems.

I had problems with InControl.
It told me I needed fuel and washer fluid when both full.
Also, mileage info was always different to that on the vehicle.
Dealer said try JLR direct.
They asked for screenshots from my phone, PC and pics from the instrument display.
A bit of a faff but...
After a few weeks (yes weeks) to and froing, JLR told me to take car to dealer for software reset.
Dealer did this and problem solved.
JLR also gave me a voucher for a free service as a gesture of good faith. I reckon that's 3 or 400 quids worth.

Its about the 4th item down in the Service menu and shows the distance to the next service and also the distance until the DEF fluid will need replenishing. I suppose its possible that they added it to the menu when they started fitting DEF technology to reduce diesel emissions.
