Nice car Jkay - I fitted the LR fixed steps myself, easy enough if you have access to a ramp , but I didn't so was time consuming and awkward, but got it done all the same. Steve

Hi Jkay - yes, with a ramp , reckon it would be @3hrs work as access would be easy. I already had most of the tools and just needed to buy a torque wrench as I wanted to set the bolts to the correct torque. I also bought some threadlock to put on them aswell so they wouldn't work loose. You also need a small protector to put around brake pipe where ti crosses ridiculously close to the front (driver s side in my case) step support you fit. The protector doesn't come with the kit (and costs around £6 in the UK) , but I used some protectors that normally go around household gas boiler pipes and do the same job. Steve

Drove a SDV8 today for the first time if the SC is better than this it really must be superb. I found no harshness or diesel noise nor was there any hesitation on pull away , very impressed with this engine. |

Deal! As long as I can leave the family behind in Sydney too! Lol
Yes I do really like the torque that comes with the SDV8, and its nice not seeing the needle drop by the second as I did on my M3 Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated ![]() |
