Similar to cheap Chinese winches... you could try heating it up as the alloy expands more than the steel... think I'm at about a 50/50 success rate... good luck Pete

FORGET all overhaul kits and parts for this horrible Hitachi compressor, special the piston makes problems, buy a new one or an AMK, only the WABCO (2002 to 2005) is one time able to refurbish, also there you need at the second time a new cylinderhead.

Pete, sorry the crank AND armature shaft which I need to separate are both steel so no differential expansion possible. Rehab is for quitters!!!
