Off to Portes de Soleil, where my family have an apartment. Had a boy's week in Verbier a month ago too. |

It's the best snow I've seen in Les Arcs & La Plagne for many years |

^ just hope it lasts until we get there! Have had to do Easter for the first time in a while due to the kids school dates, so if it's good now and they have more over the next few weeks then hopefully it should be OK as its high!

Would be interested to know what Soldeu is like - my daughter is booked to do an instructor course there mid-March - so was thinking of popping down there for Easter - I've never been to Andorra

The skiing is pretty decent, the area stretches over to pas de la casa so gives a really good range of runs. It's not any where near as extensive as say 3 valleys but it's no where near the price. This will be the 3rd time I've been out there, as it offers great value. The main "resort" as such is Pas de la casa thou tbh that's a bit Benidorm on snow, soldeu is a little more laid back.

As someone who has had to abandon skiing plans, I'd love to see some pics of the Range Rovers in the snow!

Depends on where you are going, in France winter tyres aren't mandatory, recommended but not mandatory. So I just chuck in a set of chains, have never had to fit them to the Rr though, used some on the Skoda once, just to get to the chalet as it was at the top of an icy road. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I Just go on normal m&S tyres and carry chains (as required by law) but have never used them, and I have been down in some Of the heaviest snowstorms.
