Thanks - my daughter is foo to Soldeu, so I will look for hotel availability there.

I run winter tyres Nov-Easter - but also carry chains - have never had to use the chains.

We stay in the hotel Naudi, it's cheap and cheerful, if a bit dated decor wise. But it suits our needs and is 2 mins from the lift. And it's cheap. And it's poss to book direct with them for good prices and ski pass discount plus if you drive they have a car park! Which is handy too.
