We stay in the hotel Naudi, it's cheap and cheerful, if a bit dated decor wise. But it suits our needs and is 2 mins from the lift. And it's cheap. And it's poss to book direct with them for good prices and ski pass discount plus if you drive they have a car park! Which is handy too.

I use the standard Pirelli Scorpions but carry chains, which remain in the box they arrived in 4 years ago. I don't even know what colour they are!! Drive through falling snow over the Jura this morning (Besancon to Lausanne for those who know the route) and didn't have any trouble at all, unlike a Belgian in a Q5, who slid off into the slush and rubbish at the side and was digging himself out when we passed. We didn't laugh........much |
