Before I buy one I need to know I can take to a good mechanic in a garage. Ain't taking to any stealers . Any one know of a good reliable garage in Leeds/wakefield area? I don't know much about running one, would like to learn a few basics though. Seen some posts about changing oil and flushing gear box? Any advice welcome.

Ive had quite a bit of work done on mine by adventure 4x4 at morley so they aint to far from you. Ive only had the range rover for 12months so havent had that much experience with them as they are really only a 4x4 kind of garage.

They have always been helpful and are quite resonable on parts and labour compared to other garages when ringing around.

Has anyone got any updated info on trusted York garages?

I did find a webpage for Black Cat I think it was on the A19. Anybody any experience?
I've used Philip Welch for various bits before. His mechanic is very good but not sure if he specialised in the complexities of Range Rover.

I'm still looking to buy but will only do so if I know I've got a trusted resource nearby.

JW Morris auto services on Leeds road in Robin Hood have always looked after mine. They look after a lot of high end vehicles. I've always found them great. Not the cheapest but not as dear as main stealers
