In the mean time you can start pulling fuses to see when the drain stops? |

OK, now you'd found that you can elliminate specific components... First thing to check though, leave the tailgate open for 10 minutes with the access pannel for the nav drive off. Make sure that after 5 minutes the reg light goes out. Reason I say leave the tailgate open is that if you open any door in the car it will wake the nav up. Try this and report back... Dan |

OK. Dan i sat in the boot for ten minutes, put the fuse back in and then waited. The red power light on the navi did not go off. |

OK, as long as you didn't touch any other door (inc the lower tailgate release button) and the light stayed on then I would say your problem is there. I may be wrong, but I'm sure I read that a corrupt firmware can stop the nav unit from going to sleep... Does the light go off ever? ie if you check it after 30 mins - you could fold the parcel shelf back, remove the access panel and then peer through the window to see if the light goes out. Dan |

You can unplug it easily enough to see if your drain stops. But you've got to be careful doing that when it's not shut down. Again I'd probably leave it five mins before unplugging it to ensure 100% that its stopped writing to memory. |

Should be, but wait 5 mins after opening the door before pulling the fuse. Its opening the doors which cause it to wake up... |

Now taken the nav box out and put the fuse back and put the ctek on the car to see if its that. That fuse is the only one that sparks a little when going back. |
