I am now tending to agree with you all about it being an early BMW unit. Seems they must have had a problem at some point because all the Nav stuff is missing from the boot. What is left there is protected by plastic bags but I can't find any leaks at the moment.
I don't particularly like the graphics of the head unit so may change it for something like an android unit unless anyone can give an alternative solution.
With regard the 30pin port in front of the gearstick I have a Bluetooth adapted coming for that so will se if I can stream from my iPhone into the Aux until I can sort the radio reception out and or change head unit. 2003 V8 Vogue in Silver
