Fuel Burning Heater Fault

MY12 - Fuel Burning Heater keeps cutting out

With the cold snap I noticed the car isn't defrosting with timed climate. Just tried a few experiments turning the FBH on with the remote and on turning on:

1. FBH fan can be heard under NS wheel arch
2. Then fuel pump starts clicking
3. FBH ignites - you can smell the fumes - and fan goes into high power mode - sounds like a jet engine starting up
4. Fuel pump clicks faster
5. Light on climate control fan speed dial in car starts flashing
6. Goes on for about 90 seconds: then

7. High speed fan noise stops and fuel pump stops clicking
8. Light on climate control dial stops flashing
9. Fan goes into low power mode - presumably to cool the FBH down
10. A few minutes later all goes quiet.

Opening and re-locking the car allows the FBH to be started from the remote and exactly the same happens.

Any ideas - it had worked perfectly for three years - car is 3 years and 2 months old!!

Many thanks in advance

Did you find out what was wrong? My 57 FFRR TDV8 has precisely the same problem. Unit fine when engine on though, I can feel the hot air pumping out from the small FBH exhaust by the front wheel.
