United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Santorini Black

By now last year they had announced the 15.5 changes. Since there's no word on 16.5, I suspect they'll be minor. My guess is they're holding back any significant updates to MY17, which should be announced around July next year. Was going to upgrade mine then, but the Tesla Model X looks very tempting!

The one that I've pointed out has actually got just less than 10k miles more at 12,500 miles and both have 21 inch wheels. In three years time that ten thousand miles won't be anything like £8,000.00 difference in part ex.

My point is that I don't disagree that most cars when they get to this age soften in price but they aren't dropping like stones, yet! just one or two very overpriced cars have come down to levels where people might give them a second look.

You are obviously concerned about the possible loss in depreciation and that is a fair point but then a Range Rover is never going to be a car to shield you cash in the long term. If you are nervous about it choose a couple of year old one that's already lost a chunk in depreciation as it will still have a Land Rover warranty for two years if bought through their network and its value has got less distance to fall. Can you please post a link please? - I am interested in a 15 plate car at £80k !

Quite a fan of Tesla, but that's never going to be a genuine alternative to a Range Rover.

I'm reasonably surprised prices have held up as well as they have given how many are around now - suppose it confirms that they're still desirable. If I was buying a new one today I'd want an agreed buyback price to chop it for one with 21st Century infotainment though (even though the new system is still apparently behind the curve).

I love my 405, but the tax advantages are enormous as a director/owner of a small company. It'll seat 7 and has a faster 0-60 time than the R8, 911's I've owned. Guaranteed 50% residuals. It's probably enough to tempt me away.

... but it won't get itself up a kerb, let alone across a field, won't tow etc. If you don't need any of the SUV attributes, why bother with the compromises? Just get a P90D with the extra seats.

So £10k less for 12k miles, fixed roof would be a no for me.

Surely it depends what extras are on each vehicle. It's easy to add £10 k or more to the base price.

With the list of LR options on offer, you have to look beyond wheels and mileage alone when comparing like for like.

May be depends on what you desire or regard as beneficial and what you use the vehicle for.
