I don't think there is a cost effective way to do it.

Do i really need the dvd changer - nah , do I want it - yeah . A lot of the reason for the changer is listening to some 5.1 recorded audio dvd's I have. I also end up watching a few dvd's of tv shows while waiting on people in the car . My current truck has a kenwood dvd unit in it thats great for this.

I would expect you could just ad the DVD changer in the boot to display on the front screen, without bothering to fit the rear screens.

It's very complex to do. I did this on an 07 and you cannot buy all the required parts from LR, you WILL have to visit a breakers yard at some point. There is an overloom which runs the length of the car from the head unit to the rear NS cubby which requires carpets out and this can't be purchased as a spare part.

Or you could go down the Rosen route if you want screens in the rear, won't give you the DVD changer but (depending on which version you spec) the Rosen will give you two independant DVD players (one in each headrest).
