As Hayland says A genuine G4 with all the additional equipment is worth more, an ex G4 orange RR that has been stripped of equipment is worth a lot less.

So now it's basically a resprayed black vogue, with a debatable history? I mean that's the way i'd see it as a potential buyer.

Nah it is a G4, I'm pretty sure of that.. I could pull the VIN off it and let someone have it who knows how to check it.. Anyone who can check VIN history can shoot us a PM. When I get it, I'll PM it back.. |

I'm not saying it isn't. But if i were a potential buyer i'd be thinking - this bloke is just spinning me a yarn to flog me an SE which has had some vogue bits and a respray for more money than it's worth. That has to prevent the value going too high on it.

Go and ask them on here, I would still say it would be worth a premium if it was originally a G4, plenty of people want them, and an original, even rebuilt/painted will be worth more than a copy....

Sadly a lot of the early ones were re sprayed by the land rover network as an orange Range Rover would not sell, my 110 had been stripped by Land Rover before it was sold I then spent a year buying the bits to put it back to its original condition.

I seem to remember the one i saw when i was looking. Had leather seats i think, but didn't have any of the other 'nice' bits, the wood was all just the grey SE spec plastic. it could of course just been an SE that someone had sprayed orange. |
