Sports shift. I went for a long test drive to see what it was like. Its very easy to use and you soon get used to it. I've just done a 500 mile round trip to Somerset and back (mainly motorways) and averaged 27 mpg so fuel economy not scary |

Very nice combination. I had a look a few years ago at a 4.3 V8V. Not particularly quick and the 4.7 is a big step up. |

There's a company called Bamford Rose Engineering who specialise in Aston Martins. The guy who owns the place Mike did a lot of work for Aston Martin in the engine design team.
