Batterys

Well after stuffing about with the IDTool trying to get the TV working the car would not start turned over but very sluggish....jumped from the old rangie and away we went.......

so after looking at the wiki a Bosh S5 120A/920 cca is recommended but that's serious money in the land down under so would this one do ..........or should I go genuine......

Also watch which way round the terminals are. Marine batteries often have different layouts. 2012 5.0L S/C

Hi Ziggy,

Look for Varta G14 or H3.

I have the H3 in my beast.
Plenty of power in them.

Thanks Guys, I thought bigger was better, the marine battery has more AH and CCA than the Bosh and the two little cub mentioned and the dimensions are about the same so if the terminals are OK I'll give that one a go.

That'll teach me to stuff around with the IIDTool and not have it running, but I guess it was a sign that the battery was on its last legs.
