2010 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey

Towbar ECU mapping.

Hi guys. Range Rover Vogue. TDV8 2010... Has anyone any idea where I can map my ECU. To accept my new towbar.. It flashes on the indicator. (Towbar symbol) so all is well. But continually beeps when reversing.... Very annoying...
Many dealer wants £94 plus vat??? Told it takes 10 mins...with the right equipment.
I live in Manchester..

i believe that an iidtool will do this job, worth investing in one.. ... - .- -.

As ever Stan is right, I did mine with the IIDTool although it gives lots of options I just set mine to 13 pin and it seems to work fine although I have 7 N and S Geoff

I don't think I ll buy one. Though . For a one time use. Any one have one in Manchester. That can do it.. At a cost, obviously...

You're more than welcome to use mine if the BT version will do any car and you don't mind a quick jaunt down the M61 to Chorley if you don't get another offer sooner. I won't be able to help 'till Wednesday though. Geoff

2013 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black

The regular IID is mapped to a a single car - it can support multiple, but you will need an additional licence.

A 'Pro' version can program any car

A regular will read faults of any car, just not make updates

Dan can sell you an additional car licence

Second line of the table

Something like £75 for a second VIN - so if it is truly a one off, may be worth just paying the £94 locally

Have a scan of the above web site & see what else can be changed & get it all done in one go - either with Geoff or the main dealer

Just looked back - Dan was doing the VIN addition for £60 in May - not sure if that's still the case
