I have developed a steering wheel judder but only when after a few miles and things warm up.
I did the rear brakes a while back and thought just in case knowing RR can be strange i put the old pads back in but still the same.
Car has been great prior to that but after a long run out this started.
What should i look at first before i start getting in deep for no reason.
Any advice first please. I would like to sort it first before i sell the car

IIRC you've put new wheels and tyres on it

I'd start looking there

they were great for 1000 miles but will take them off and put them on the ballancer and swap front to rears see if thats sorts it first, might even put the old ones on just strange it needs to get hot

double check your tyre pressures. I had the same thing this week, it was a front tyre with low pressure from a leaking valve.

Brake caliper or wheel weight?

Had similar problem on the Mini recently and it was a seized caliper.

^ +1 for possible seized rear caliper.

Right did 8 miles today wit no brakes used speeding up and slowing down letting the car do its own thing and no steering wheel judder at all.
Started to use brakes and get them warmed up ok for a bit then started to judder / wobble at steering wheel went round all calipers and discs feeling for a hot of cold one all same to the touch.
This only happened since i did the back pads and shoes left the old discs on as they looked fine and brakes were ok just down.
Might have a look at putting new discs on and checking calipers when they are off, what is the best replacement discs dont want crap, in case i sell the car.

Well had time yesterday to look for the problem and found the osf disc has a blue high spot on the inside and one bush has a little play in it.
So next week new discs and pads and a bush fitted me thinks so someone will be getting a car with all new discs pads and parking brake shoes still better done before I do sell her, going to sort the little jobs and clean her up over the next two weeks but don't know if I should sell her with the 202 wheels on or just put originals on and sell them off the car.
Decided to leave the tv module in and tow bar on think that might be a good selling point.

Well fitted new discs and pads in the front done the bush at the same time
Drives great again now mmmmm well think I will still be moving it on soon
