As I wanted to keep phone charger cables tidy, and without trailing from the centre console cubby to the dash, I therefore decided to fit a USB socket as close to the dash as possible.

Ahh yeah that makes sense, if you're going to end up downloading 20'000 contacts from a multinationals address book.

Ja proser, because of you I just had to go do it. Been contemplating to do it since I had the dual battery installed a few weeks ago, but never got round to it.

I have my power coning thru from the speaker hole in the dash. Surprisingly easy!
