But you did say it had just passed an MOT & the beam was in a satisfactory state sir!
Prosaically why i suggested you try flicking the euro light adjusters to see if that solves your issue!
And NO! It will NOT stop you passing an MOT in the future!!!
My wife’s Disco seems to blind oncoming drivers cresting hills from my N.S. much more than my FF with adaptive lights so, the Disco is run with euro flat beams set around 3/4 way to save my wife having all & sundry flash their full beams at her! Sure i could adjust them to the floor to try stopping this from happening but!!! Its NOT SAFE to overly adjust the beam pattern towards the floor as you would need to constantly use “full beam” especially in bad weather! Therefore potentially blinding oncoming drivers even more than before!
I would if i were you, flick the euro adjusters and see over a few days if it stops you getting flashed at! If it does then simply return the euro adjusters to standard and run the car in to your usual MOT station and ask them to adjust the lights to the furthest point downwards they think it is acceptable to do. If afterwards they still blind oncoming drivers! You have more information as to what you can do long term sir
