Australia 2006 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Zambezi Silver
Modified 06 TD6 In AUS - 33"R20

Hi guys, I have had my FFRR for nearly 2 years now, love it to bits!

Things I have done (All my own, back breaking work)

Noticeable stuff first

Custom sensor lift mod to add about 2-3" of height and provide more than standard articulation.
33"x12.5R20 Atturo mud tires (noisy but effective)
Rear, 2 way tyre swing. allows access to top boot without having to fully swing out (handy in carparks)
Safari roof rack
custom roof top tent using Oztent RV1 (Wip)
Matte Grey vinyl wrap
Under radiator bash plate.

Not so noticeable

Changed the failing inline fuel pump the the well know bosch 404
Blocked EGR actuator valve control
UHF and areal
Muffler Delete
Rear Volt meter and AMP gauge for fridge
Dash mounted, powered phone dock

Rear, under floor mounted: -
10L water tank with pump
1x 90Ah battery in right rear
1x 120Ah battery in spare wheel well
120L/m air compressor (pressure sensor controlled)
30L air tank with outlets for airhorns (up front) and rear inflation for tyres.
Moved EAS compressor to one side of wheel well.

Lots of little LED's everywhere for camping
I think there is more that I have done, but I just cant remember them all....plenty more to do too

I've been working hard on the roo protection since ownership. Unfortunately there is no manufactures that make one for the l322 (airbag compliant anyway) and if it didn't cost as much as it did to get the certification, I would build one myself, until then I have to keep badgering the bigger manufacturers

What does it sound like without the back box, and does this still pass the "MOT" or whatever it is in Oz? .

I know it might not be much but would the normal front grilles and A bar help at all for the roo shielding? dont get me wrong they are nothing like the proper stuff but it would help lessen the impact as much on the front end.. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Looks like they are as Censored as us when it comes to winch bumpers Sad

Wot I want to know is..... how is we are not allowed to change our bumpers cos we might scratch a person stupid enough to jump in front of a ffrr, BUT, it's perfectly OK to stick a great big, sharp angled, battering ram of a winch on the front Shocked It just don't make any seance to me, surely it would be less harmful if it was in a bumper rather than sticking out a foot ?
