As well as economy i suppose it makes the engine more willing to start and reduce engine wear in really cold climates, like Poland, Finland, Siberia and Scotland. |

Don't know about more willing to start,just makes the cab a bit more comfortable waiting for the AA to jump start you |

When you use the remote or timer on the FBH it does not heat the engine , there is a by pass valve and it only heats the cabin but on starting the engine and it is below a certain temperature 7 or 8 degrees from memory it will continue to work to help bring the engine up to temperature quicker to help with emissions . 2008 MY Supercharged
