I saw one when i was looking. Seemed to be a base model SE, i suppose it would be potentially more attractive than another SE, but I wouldn't have paid Vogue money for it.

As Hayland says A genuine G4 with all the additional equipment is worth more, an ex G4 orange RR that has been stripped of equipment is worth a lot less.

I've owned 2 G4's a RRS & a def 110.

If he is selling post on G4 owners club.

If he has BV55YZD pm me Thumbs Up Paul

Ah, OK.. Well, I've got some extra info on it..

It's a 2002, 4.4 V8, only done 65k or so. Don't know the exact reg as it's always had a dateless plate on it.. It shows up as an SE on number late check, but has all the Vogue goodies on it, ie head unit with screen, orthopaedic seats, heated rears, supercharged alloys, etc etc.. It's not orange any more, repainted Panther Black before LR sold it on, but on the rear arches the paint has gone through underneath the arch and you can see the previous orange paint..

Off road goodies, it has the big rubberised bull bars on the front with a pair of spotlights, light guards, and I think (but not certain) extra underside protection, but no roof rack or anything else like that..

I don't know if it'll be being sold, but I'm pretty sure he is the 2nd owner after LR themselves..

So now it's basically a resprayed black vogue, with a debatable history? I mean that's the way i'd see it as a potential buyer.

The one i looked at was still orange, although stripped of the off road gear, a good basis if you wanted to rebuild it into a G4 spec off roader or just for the look. But didn't see it as being worth a great deal as it stood - it was fairly cheap.

Nah it is a G4, I'm pretty sure of that.. I could pull the VIN off it and let someone have it who knows how to check it.. Anyone who can check VIN history can shoot us a PM. When I get it, I'll PM it back..

I'm not saying it isn't. But if i were a potential buyer i'd be thinking - this bloke is just spinning me a yarn to flog me an SE which has had some vogue bits and a respray for more money than it's worth. That has to prevent the value going too high on it.

I mean if it were still bright Orange i think that would mean something.

Go and ask them on here, I would still say it would be worth a premium if it was originally a G4, plenty of people want them, and an original, even rebuilt/painted will be worth more than a copy....

England

Sadly a lot of the early ones were re sprayed by the land rover network as an orange Range Rover would not sell, my 110 had been stripped by Land Rover before it was sold I then spent a year buying the bits to put it back to its original condition.

In all honesty a 13 year old RR is not worth that much in this case being G4 I doubt will increase its value as being able to put it back to original condition would not be cost effective

Good luck to your mate with his sale, as mentioned above try G4 owners club, I did have a list of all vin numbers when I was the treasurer in the G4 owners club but left a longtime ago Paul

United Kingdom 2002 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Tangiers Orange

Hi

I do have information about most L322 that entered the G4, including pics I gathered over the year but I would need the original plate to look for it.

The club has all the info you need, once you become a member you have access to most info you may need (only £25 for lifetime membership)

Fully equiped G4 vehicles, including L322s, do have a whole separate value than regular ones, most sell between members, some even have pending cash offers from members, trade or collectors from abroad (it took me 10 years to get mine after seeing it for the first time!)

However, this particular one has little to none extra value not being its original colour to start with.

L322 were either SE, HSE or Vogue on paper but were ALL specced to Vogue levels bar sunroof -because roofrack (yet some have one). Also none had any trim level logo on the boot.

see below :

I seem to remember the one i saw when i was looking. Had leather seats i think, but didn't have any of the other 'nice' bits, the wood was all just the grey SE spec plastic. it could of course just been an SE that someone had sprayed orange.
