Just looking at upgrading mine. I know the Autobiography came with lots as standard but was
unsure as to what else could have been spec'd.

I have seen that the rear TV's and Cooled rear seats are optional.

When reading some sales adverts, they have listed std options as extras. So wanted the facts before
talking to them. Range Rover Autobiography 5.0SC

The idea behind and Autobiography was they could be built to the original buyers specifications. So as far as an Autobiography goes you can have anything you like if you're prepared to pay for it. If you want the body covered in real gold leaf they'd do it, pink leather interior, custom made drinks cabinets LR would find someone to make things they couldn't do it. Obviously most were limited to different colours of off the shelf leather and different paint.

The best thing to do is get yourself on ebay and buy a brochure and price list for the year of car that you have or are looking at getting. That will show you all the off the shelf options that Land-Rover could supply

Not strictly true these days Rolling Eyes Autobiography as of 2009 became a spec model rather than as you describe it sir... Rather like Vogue, Vogue SE etc

You are absolutely correct in your description as to pre 2009 cars though.

So, as far as the OP’s question is concerned... There is a “normal” spec for an SC AB and an extra’s list too, the list changes on a yearly basis so for example, AFS, RSE, VA, was standard on a VSE 2009 but became a payable option on a 2010 SC AB model. Cooled & reclining rear seats have always been an option etc etc Rolling Eyes Thumbs Up

The principle is still there for post 2009 Autobiographies though? You can still pay to have what ever you like done to them, even if the vast majority don't?

Just making the OP aware that VERY rarely is an AB of 2009> era made by SV division!

Mine is a 2011 AB. At that point it was just the next model above the VSE. Extras over VSE were adaptive xenons and lots of leather. Lots of leather.
Leather roof, full leather dash inc around air controls and screen. Extra leather on doors and am door pockets. Leather under dash.

Options on the one I have over standard are vision assist pack (5 camera system) with blind spot monitor.
Rear recliner seats. (Also gives memory passenger seat)
Rear climate seats. (Heated and cooled)
Rear screen entertainment.

TBH the VSE is pretty loaded. Only option when looking for mine was vision assist that I wanted. Was torn between a VSE with slightly higher spec and my AB that I have. Went for the AB for the leather extras and the fact it says Autobiography on the rear.

I'm not disagreeing with you. But part of the question was what were the options, and on an Autobiography of any year it's theoretically anything the original buyer wanted. So if he finds one advertised with a really odd spec then that'll be why.

No worries fella, just making everyone (who didn’t know) aware of the AB’s standard inclusion into the range from 09my... Thumbs Up
