Should I paint them black??

What do you guys think on painting my wheels this colour???

Personally, unless the FF is black and your going for the all black look I think it looks awful...

I know it's a tricky one as mine look like this at the moment

But not sure if this would be a good change. I don't have side steps also.

Hides the brake dust.
Black with some sort of red highlight looks interesting.
Will you powdercoat or just spray them though?

Possibly powder coat them. Or get them powder coated a dark grey. Don't want it to look chavy thou.

Personally I think it looks classy with them in standard trim - just needs some deeper ruber wrapped around them IMHO

I don't get why peeps have expensive wheels and paint them black so you can't see them. In the olden days we had steel wheels and black alloys remind me.

If you have to do it I'd go gunmetal grey or something ?

Like Pete says, its your car, if you like them.....

is it as easy to touch up powder coated wheels ?

Personally i don't like all black alloys, it just makes them look like steel wheels with the trims missing and the wheels just blend in with the tyres.

They can look good with some subtle chrome/light coloured detailing to break up all the blackness.

Just my personal taste though, it's not my cup of tea but that doesn't mean it can't be yours.

Yes, the callipers were done red on the silver car Chris... Gloss Black on the grey car, am yet to make up my mind about which colour to go
