met two forum members in Dordogne today!

After my Range Rover showed a worrying message on the display while on holiday in France several forum members jumped in and tried to help.

Today my family and I met up with Robert and family in Perigueux and had a very good time chatting over a copious French lunch.

After that we drove an hour to meet John (Weegie). John had offered to see what he could do with his IID tool. And lo and behold the message disappeared after he reset the fault codes.
It has not come back after driving back to our holiday home for two hours.
Thanks once again John!!!

So this (mainly) British forum has helped a Dutchman on holday in France to meet another Dutchman and a Scotsman both living in Dordogne in France. How nice!

Very slow internet connection here in holiday home. Will try to upload a picture of John's Range Rover next to mine tomorrow.

Daniel

Thanks again! Last year we did go South (Biarritz area) but this year we won't go more South than Dordogne.

It was a pleasure to meet such as a nice and helpful gentleman!
Hope to meet again (with all vehicles in fully working order)!

And for all those who weren't there, here are the Range Rovers involved basking in the French sun, one LHD Dutch registered and one RHD French registered.
