2010 SC ABS

Hi,

Does the 2010 SC have overly sensitive ABS. Mine seems to cut in before I would expect it to.

Cheers

Hi Stan,

Took me a while to decide what my problem is.
It seems to take excessive effort to stop the car when approaching junctions etc.
Then occasionally, the ABS kicks in.
To be honest, it's probably doing exactly what it is supposed to do. The tyre may drop into a dip in the road.
I do seem to generate a lot of brake dust, particularly on the fronts. I wonder if I have crap pads fitted.
I don't remember having any of these problems with my TDV8 in the UK.
Maybe I'm just driving too fast Shocked

You do tend to be standing on the brakes quite a lot here in Abu Dhabi Shocked

cheers

i've seen videos of the driving over there geoff Shocked

it could very well be worn or dodgy pads, and a starting point would be to check and replace if necessary, with OE pads/discs of course.. ... - .- -.
